Toba Beach Club
Toba Beach Club is a new public beach club on the coast in Puerto Los Cabos. Associated with The Ritz-Carlton Reserve area, it offers a relaxed spot to spend the day beside the Sea of Cortez.
What sets Toba apart is its access policy: there's currently no minimum consumption requirement. You can drop in for lunch, have a drink or spend a few hours at the beach without committing to a set food-and-beverage spend.
Hours & Access
Toba Beach Club opens Tuesday through Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
You don't need to be staying at the surrounding resort or residences to visit. The beach club welcomes the public, so other Cabo visitors can spend the day here too.
Hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM; closed Monday. There's no minimum consumption requirement.
Food at Toba Beach Club
Food is casual and suited to a beach day, with plenty of Baja favourites on the menu.
The seafood selection includes ceviche, tropical ceviche, locally caught yellowfin tuna tartare and shrimp aguachile. Chips and guacamole are on the menu too, as are Baja-style tacos with fish, shrimp, chicken or arrachera.
If you're after a bigger meal, there are quesadillas, a double smash burger, Caesar salad and chicken wraps to choose from. Simpler options are available for children as well.
Drinks by the Beach
Margaritas feature heavily on the bar menu, with traditional, skinny, jalapeño, mango and Cadillac versions. Other Cabo classics include Ranch Water and Bloody Marys, alongside a selection of beachside cocktails.
There's also beer, wine by the glass and hard seltzers, plus tequila, mezcal, vodka, gin and whisky. Non-alcoholic drinks are available too.
Why Visit Toba Beach Club?
For travellers based in or around San Jose del Cabo, Toba is another option for a relaxed afternoon on the coast. There's no need to book a full resort day.
Without a minimum spend, a visit can be as simple as lunch and a margarita or a little time by the beach. It also makes Toba an easy stop during a day exploring the Puerto Los Cabos area.
Casual food, cocktails and a beachfront setting make Toba worth considering if you're looking for a quieter beach-club day on the East Cape side of Los Cabos.
Hours, access policies and menus can change, so we recommend checking the current details before you visit.
