For even more jaw-dropping snorkeling, head a few miles south down Highway 1 to Santa Maria Beach. This crescent shaped protected cove is actually a marine sanctuary, so you'll have scores of brightly colored schools of tropical fish to snorkel alongside. For a guided excursion, many charter companies offer Scuba excursions and snorkel tours via boat that depart from the Cabo San Lucas harbor. For self-guided snorkeling, arriving early in the morning when conditions are calmest and clearest provides an unforgettable adventure!

Just outside of San Jose del Cabo is Palmilla Beach, yet another stunning stretch of sand along the Tourist Corridor. Enjoy a stroll along this lengthy stretch of sand, lounge under the shade of a palapa, or take a dip in the protected area that is ideal for swimming.
