Christmas Events and Sightseeing

The Sabor a Cabo Food and Wine Festival is held every December, and consists of a selection of 60 local restaurants, featuring wine, mezcal, and tequila, finishing with a live concert. Thursday evenings only a short drive away in San José del Cabo, you’ll find an evening art walk, and around this time of year you’ll find many seasonal crafts such as handmade Christmas ornaments might be featured. You can explore the cobblestone streets and enjoy snacks and wine as you admire the art and maybe even pick up a few things to take back home. A number of local churches will be offering Christmas services, and some of them are historical landmarks that you can visit such as Parroquia de San José del Cabo. This is also the time of year that the 9-day festival of Las Posadas occurs, where each night in the heart of town you can watch candlelit walks that are meant to depict the path of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem.
