NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH

Out with the old ..... in with the new. 2010 is around the corner and the countdown has begun! There is a lot of entertainment in town to choose from during this busy holiday season. Most nightclubs and restaurants are offering New Year’s Eve dinners with live entertainment and guest appearances. Tickets are still available for a Fantasy Dinner at Nikki Beach at a cost of which includes a dinner buffet, one bottle of champagne per couple, a fireworks show, music by a guest star DJ from Las Vegas and afterwards, free access to Passion Club’s New Year’s Eve after party. If that is not to your liking, try another popular venue – Solomon’s Landing. Enjoy a gourmet dinner, party favours, New Year’s toast and all night dancing to a five piece classic Rock & Roll band “The Original Dos Huevos”. Passion Club & Bar is another fun place to ring in the New Year from 9.00pm to 5.00am. Pink Kitty Nightclub featuring a modern Baroque boudoir is known for dancing and it’s all girl bar staff . And you haven’t done Cabo until you do El Squid Roe. This club is three stories of pulsating energy and more – not for the prudish or faint of heart where the waiters are equipped with spray tanks of tequila. Cabo is definitely the place to be!

The Office in Cabo San Lucas?

Did you think The Office is only a TV show? Well not so in Los Cabos.
The Office is a club on Medano Beach which features nightly live music, fine food and then there is Rambo who walks around the restaurant selling shots of tequila!
In the 70’s, a gringo set up his palapa on the beach with its small kitchen and bar serving the locals and tourists simple food such as fried fish, burritos, hamburgers and of course margaritas and beer. From this same palapa, he also set up his office renting out wind surfing equipment – hence the name “The Office”.
This is the place for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an expanded menu of Baja-style jumbo shrimp in the shell, hand-made corn and wheat flour tortillas together with other fine Mexican dishes. Sit back, relax after a day filled with sunshine and enjoy your dining experience while listening to the beautiful voice of local Latin American Idol finalist, Samantha Rae Byars. On Thursday evenings there is a lively Mexican Fiesta with piñatas, tequila shooters and traditional folk dancing until 11.00pm under the stars.

Pancho's chefs are from all over Mexico including the Yucatan, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Oaxaca and various other areas. The menu reflects delicious regional foods such as poblano from Puebla, Carne Asada from Sonora, Yucatecan Burritos and Coconut Shrimp from the beach area chefs. The specialty of course is the all of the wonderful fresh Baja fish!

Pancho's boasts the largest collection of tequilas in any restaurant in the world! Over 500 labels to choose from - the friendly and knowledgable waiters will be happy to suggest one to accompany your dinner. For large parties, why not have a tequila tasting party at Pancho's!
