Cabo San Lucas golf courses boast landscapes and playing terrain comparable to that found in many Arizona and California desert courses, the main difference being the visual addition of the sparkling Sea of Cortez. Despite the professional status of the four main courses, which have attracted the PGA Grand Slam Tournament annually since 1995, all are eminently playable. Some Cabo golf courses offer memberships, but most of them allow non-members to play. The exception is Querencia, designed by Tom Fazzio. The course is said to be spectacular, but its only open to members and their guests.

Cabo San Lucas Golf Course - Playing Fee

Cabo San Lucas golf courses have high course fees - generally over $200 per round. About a million gallons of water a day are required to maintain each golf course, which partially explains why Cabo San Lucas golf courses charge some of the highest green fees in the world. The cost usually includes access to the driving range , a golf cart and bottled water. Courses generally offer 20% to 30% off rates if you play after 2 or 2:30 p.m. This is actually a great time to play, because the temperature is cooler and play is generally faster.

The golf offerings in Los Cabos will only continue to expand; four courses are in various phases in construction. The master plan for Los Cabos golf calls for a future total of 207 holes.
